Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. Your role will involve performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for employees and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform general custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness standards
Experience:
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and practices is a plus
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects or operating machinery
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and address any concerns
