Position Title: Partner Engagement Coordinator
FLSA Status: Full-time/Non-Exempt
Immediate Supervisor: Community Engagement Manager
Employees Supervised: Interns and Volunteers Occasionally
Position Summary: The Partner Engagement Coordinator will assist with the maintaining agency partner relations department by developing, engaging, and sustaining the relationships and communications with agency partners within their assigned territory. Ensure agency compliance with state, federal, HCFB, and Feeding America requirements and criteria.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Mentor, support, and develop the HCFB partner agency network to include HCFB programs throughout the five-county region.
· Maintain a consistent Agency Partner monitoring schedule and database.
· Seek, recruit, and develop new partner agencies utilizing map the meal gap data to identify high need areas.
· Assist in facilitating and providing partner agency training in agency express, operational requirements, record keeping, ordering processes and reporting systems applicable to their organizations.
· Assist in annual training HCFB TEFAP distributing partner agencies on TEFAP regulations, policies, contractual requirements, and civil rights laws.
· Assist with, execute workshops, and other training as identified in agency surveys, on site reports, and other assignments to develop capacity building and engagement opportunities with partners.
· Ensure partner agency compliance through regular monitoring site visits and follow up as needed.
· Maintains up to date and accurate files of all partner agencies in Ceres and in hard copy files.
· Complete surveys with agencies to understand client and food needs.
· Field partner agency and neighbor concerns and follow up, as necessary.
· Responds in a timely manner to partner agency questions or request for information.
· Responds to requests made by neighbors inquiring about receiving food.
· Monitor materials and forms to ensure that they are in compliance with HCFB, Feeding America, State, and Federal regulations and make recommendations for updates.
· Work with the existing network to increase partner engagement, distribution capacity and ensure effective distribution models.
· Conduct regular meetings for partner agencies in each region.
· Process and record partner agency suspensions and reinstatements in accordance with organization criteria.
· Assist Community Engagement Manager to ensure equitable distribution of food throughout the five-county service area.
· Assist with identifying partner agencies that could benefit from retail enablement.
· Liaison between partner agencies and the Food Bank.
· Cross train in other areas of the Programs Department
· Completes reports, dashboard reports, and documentation on a regular basis.
· Represent HCFB at meetings or events, perform other related assignments and assist other HCFB staff on special projects as required.
· Attend work group meetings as needed.
· Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Harry Chapin Food Bank is a “second responder” in the event of a community emergency or disaster. During an emergency or disaster, and only after an employee’s personal responsibilities are under control, employees are asked to report to work to be available to help in ways that may be different from their normal work responsibilities. In addition, employees may be temporarily transferred to other food banks (travel expenses paid) to assist them in recovering from the disaster.

Specific to Position:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in related field required; may be replaced with comparable experience.
· Minimum one year of relevant experience in non-profit, human services or client relations.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and effectively.
· Strong attention to detail
· Obtain and maintain Food Safety Management Certification
· Requires public speaking and presentations to various audiences.
· Ability to work independently and effectively.
· Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
· Ability to lift, carry, and/or pull at least 20 lbs.
· Sensitivity to diversity and the ability to work with people of different nationalities, ethnic origins, and socioeconomic levels is essential.
Operate a personal vehicle on a daily basis to community partner sites, meetings, and events.
bilingual ability in Spanish or Haitian Creole is highly desirable.
Working Conditions: Partner Engagement Coordinator is expected to travel extensively in order to monitor and support HCFB Agency Partners in our five-county service area. In order to satisfactorily perform the monitoring duties, it is required that the PRM be willing to inspect unclean and/or infested areas to assure compliance with food safety criteria.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
