Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute events from start to finish, ensuring all details are taken care of
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth event operations
- Upsell additional services or products to clients to enhance their event experience
- Collaborate with fundraising teams to organize and execute fundraising events
- Coordinate hospitality services such as catering, transportation, and accommodations for event attendees
- Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for event improvement
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers
- Oversee event setup, including venue layout, decorations, audiovisual equipment, and signage
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members
- Strong upselling abilities to maximize revenue opportunities for the organization
