What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campus Aide position at Harriton High School?
Lower Merion School District is hiring a Campus Aide at Harriton High School
Campus Aides help provide an orderly, secure campus environment in which students can develop and learn. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Secure designated instructional areas and common areas within the school grounds.
- Engage students in conversations that promote practices of safety and adherence to established guidelines and rules in the school.
- Perform clerical duties assigned by administration.
- Guide observance and application of campus rules and regulations in relation to students.
- Assist administration with monitoring student areas and maintaining control of student behavior.
- Assist in reinforcing positive student behaviors, such as timeliness, responsibility, and cleanliness in relation to the high school campus
- Other relevant duties may be assigned by Principal or Supervisor.
Prior experience working with students in either a school or coaching setting or adolescent facility required. Experience in school safety/security a plus. Demonstrated work record of dependability.
Child Abuse, PA State Police and FBI clearances (no less than one year from date of hire)
This is a 10-month position. Salary and benefits set by LMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Starting salary for the 26-27 school year is currently $35,085.00 (please note this is subject to be prorated based on start date). This position is set to begin at the start of the 26-27 school year.
