Associate Veterinarian (DVM)
ABOUT US Harrisonville Animal Clinic is a full‑service, small‑animal exclusive, privately owned practice located just outside Kansas City. Our newly renovated 7‑exam‑room hospital features a comfort room, dedicated cat spaces, a large open treatment area, and updated diagnostic technology including digital radiology, dental radiographs, ultrasound, laser therapy, surgical laser, and in‑house lab capabilities.
We have proudly served our community for more than 25 years and are committed to providing compassionate, honest, empathetic, and high‑quality care to every pet and client. Our team includes supportive assistants, technicians, receptionists, and kennel staff who help maintain a fun, fast‑paced, positive clinic culture.
THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a PT or FT Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team. This role is ideal for both experienced clinicians and new graduates seeking mentorship and professional growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Perform patient exams, routine surgeries, and dental procedures
• Diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, and provide client education
• Utilize digital radiography, dental radiographs, ultrasound, and in‑house diagnostics
• Partner with our support team to deliver excellent client service
• Help maintain our positive, compassionate, and team‑oriented culture
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• DVM degree and eligibility for Missouri licensure
• Strong communication and client‑education skills
