RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in Hyundai vehicles
- Conduct vehicle inspections and provide recommendations for necessary repairs
- Record all services and repairs performed on vehicles
- Ensure customer vehicles are clean and ready for pick-up after service
- Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Hyundai vehicles
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Experience in new vehicle franchise dealership and Virginia State Inspector preferred
- Competitive compensation range: $19 - $32 per flat rate hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Strong automotive background
- Strong teamwork skills
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
- Must have clean & valid driver's license
