Harrison School District is seeking a Junior High Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026/2027 school year. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) 9-12 Social Studies teaching position. The boys' basketball coaching position ranges from 7th to 9th grade. A second sport would be determined.

Job Requirements:
- Instructional Leadership and Curriculum: Create and deliver specialized instruction motivating students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation per each pupil's ability; and demonstrate experience in examining, interpreting, and using student assessment data.
- Classroom Environment and Management: Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth; establish effective rapport with pupils; and ensure strong student engagement.
- Communication and Collaboration: Formulate positive relationships with parents, students, and other staff members; and demonstrate effective communication within the school community.
- Technology and Operations: Effectively use Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital resources (e.g., Canvas, Google Classroom); and develop and maintain required paperwork.
- Licensure: Must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification.
- Status: Must possess Arkansas Qualified Teacher (AQT) status.
- Certifications: CDL or the ability to obtain one.
