Job Summary:
Assist Teachers as needed by overseeing and providing instructional support to small groups (3-6) and/or individual students for reading and assisting with the preparation of classroom instructional materials. Administer assessments and complete data entry of the assessment results. Hours per day and work schedule will vary depending on campus needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and provide instructional support to small groups of 3-6 students and/or individual students. Will work flexible hours based on the needs of the individual campus, which may include before, after, and normal school workday instruction.
Prepare materials for lessons, look over lessons for each group, and help monitor students.
Meet with teams to discuss student's progress.
(Elementary/K-8) Perform crossing guard duties as assigned by school administration to include attending crossing guard training and direction action of children and traffic at assigned crosswalks in order to ensure safe crossing.
(Elementary/K-8) Perform lunchroom monitor duties as assigned by school administration to include assisting students with lining up to receive their lunches, helping students open items on their trays, enforcing lunchroom rules, leading students to the lunchroom, dismissing students from the lunchroom, wiping down tables, and assisting with organizing and implementing indoor activities for students during inclement weather.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Training and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic English and oral and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of office machines required.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Monitors and directs students as assigned. Acts as a resource for students, teachers, and administration.
Criminal background check and District fingerprinting required.
