One of our clients is looking for an Accountant to support the accounting operations of a private family business with multiple entities across various industries
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the company's day-to-day accounting operations.
- Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Handle bank and credit card reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Process payroll and related tax filings as required.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Work with external CPAs or auditors for year-end reviews and tax filings.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audits and internal review.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- 3 years of full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and GAAP principles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) or similar accounting software.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Compensation $60K - $65K
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
