Responsibilities
- Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining water clarity.
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as checking and balancing water chemistry levels to ensure safety and compliance.
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment like pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or recommend replacements as needed.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to repair or replace faulty equipment or parts.
- Maintain detailed service logs, work orders, and maintenance records for each pool serviced.
- Identify potential issues early by conducting thorough inspections and preventative maintenance to avoid costly repairs later.
- Communicate clearly with clients about service procedures, safety protocols, and recommended upgrades or repairs.
Experience
- Prior experience as a service technician or in a similar pool maintenance role is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair and troubleshoot pool equipment effectively.
- Experience with pool cleaning techniques and routine maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely for equipment repair tasks.
- Familiarity with pool chemistry and water treatment processes is a plus.
