We go beyond standard investment management, offering a sophisticated, comprehensive approach to wealth preservation, multi-generational planning, and complex risk management. Our team operates with a "client-first" mentality, providing family office services backed by institutional-grade talent.
The Role
The Equity Analyst is a detail-oriented professional responsible for the operational management of the firm’s investment models and serving as a key technical representative in client-facing engagements. This individual will work alongside the Investment and Advisor teams to generate ideas, monitor performance and conduct research on equities, fixed income, and private investments. A person proficient with computer software and systems is a must. While a meticulous and technical role, it is important that this individual be able to articulate complex investment strategies with clarity and conviction directly to the investment committee and high-net-worth clients.
General Responsibilities:
Model Management & Portfolio Strategy
•Core Model Management: Assist with ongoing management, rebalancing, and optimization of the firm’s core investment models to ensure alignment with the committee’s strategy and client tax considerations.
•Custom Portfolio Construction: Oversee the management of bespoke client portfolios, ensuring that individual investment goals, tax constraints, and risk tolerances are integrated into the broader strategy.
•Performance Monitoring: Continuously evaluate model performance against benchmarks, ensuring the integrity of the data and the scalability of the investment process.
Communication
•Client Engagement: Act as a primary technical resource in client meetings, explaining portfolio positioning, market shifts, and specific investment rationales.
•Articulate Translation: Distill complex financial concepts and internal research into clear, persuasive narratives that build client confidence and demonstrate the value of the firm's investment philosophy.
•Market Insight Delivery: Contribute to and deliver market insights. Clear oral and written communication is a requirement for this role.
Investment Research & Due Diligence
•Fundamental Research (Public & Private): Conduct rigorous bottom-up analysis of corporate financial statements, attend investment updates, build financial models, read earnings transcripts, and investigate existing and potential holdings with an unbiased, innate curiosity.
•Coordinate 3rd-Party Solutions: Work with outside investment solutions providers to implement, monitor, report, and explain to clients the details of these outside solutions.
•Ongoing Learning and Development: A key element of this role entails learning and developing alongside the Investment Team and a desire to pursue industry designations.
Education and Experience Requirements:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field.
•Certification: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation (or candidate) is highly preferred.
•Experience: 2-5 years of experience in model management, equity research, or a related field where client interaction and model oversight were central.
•Technical Proficiency: Mastery in Excel and use of financial platforms such as Bloomberg and FactSet. Python is a plus.
