Duties
- Assist with the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems on various vehicles and heavy equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, fluid checks, and component replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical issues accurately
- Support the repair of , industrial equipment, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers, and ariel equipment.
- Conduct vehicle alignment checks and repairs to ensure safety standards are met
- Assist with assembling new equipment or parts as needed for repairs or upgrades
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all repairs performed
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with dealership service environments is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge of diesel systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, hydraulics, and electrical components
- Experience with schematics reading and diagnostic tools for automotive electrical systems or vehicle diagnostics is preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and safety practices in a workshop setting
- Strong work ethic with the ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members during repairs or inspections
