The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office in West Virginia is seeking applications for the position of a Part-Time Court Staging Deputy located at the Harrison County Courthouse, Clarksburg, West Virginia.

$20,000.00 Yearly

Job Description
· Responsible for conducting a thorough search of each inmate before he/she enters the transport vehicle.
· Responsible for transporting inmates to the North Central Regional Jail.
· Complete all paperwork prior to and from transport.
· Assist with Courthouse Security as needed.
· Other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Sheriff.
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
· Valid West Virginia Driver’s License
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Must possess a current West Virginia Correctional Officer Certification.
· Ability to work weekends
· Pass a background investigation
