Established multi-disciplined consulting firm is looking to add a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to their Beaver Dam, Wisconsin team!Responsibilities:Primary engineering contact for architectural K-12 and public-sector projectsCollaborate with other disciplines to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into building designsCoordinate with utilities, permitting agencies, and code authorities to secure timely approvalsParticipate in public and board meetings as needed for school and municipal projectsMentor/train junior staffLead mechanical system design for a variety of building types (HVAC systems, ventilation and energy recovery systems, building automation and controls integration)Design of domestic water, sanitary, and storm plumbing systemsConduct load calculations, equipment sizing, pressure loss analysis, and energy modelingDevelop detailed construction drawings and specifications using Revit, AutoCAD, and other design toolsStamp and certify mechanical construction documents in support of permit submittals and constructionReview designs, respond to RFIs, and support construction-phase servicesProvide accurate cost estimates and support scope development for new projects/proposalsEnsure QA/QC procedures are followedRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering8 years of experience in mechanical building systems designPE LicenseExperience with K-12 and/or municipal building projects preferredLEED AP, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), or related credentials preferredWorking knowledge of applicable codes and standards (IECC, IBC, ASHRAE 90.1, 62.1, and plumbing codes)Proficient with Revit, Bluebeam, and mechanical system modeling/selections toolsSalary is commensurate with experience.Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.Please contact Laura Harrison for further information!www.harrisonconsultingsolutions.com517-906-6926
