What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Services Project Engineer position at Harrison Consulting Solutions?
A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Construction Services Project Engineer for their Washington, DC team!
Responsibilities:
- Manage/control all construction project documentation
- Update Construction Management plan
- Ensure all construction documents and required recordkeeping is maintained appropriately
- Responsible for external and internal communications with the project team
- Technical writing of project documents and documentation management
- Monitor/observe daily construction activities on projects
- Establish project controls/procedures
- Prepare monthly reports, maintain project records, review contractor payment requests
- Prepare project documentation including transmittals, submittals, Requests for Information (RFI), letters, faxes, emails
- Attend progress meetings and generate status reports
- Meet with project team, vendors, contractors, suppliers, and other service providers as needed
- Assist with large-sewer rehabilitation projects from design/permitting phase through construction services
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field, from an accredited college
- 5 years of relevant experience
- MD or VA PE preferred or ability to obtain via reciprocity within first 6 months
Salary is commensurate with experience.
