Principal Backend Developer

The Role
We are seeking a Principal Backend Developer to facilitate the rapid growth that this startup is seeing. In this role you'll be designing and building novel knowledge graphs algorithms to power search and retrieval over unstructured and structured data, as well as partnering with AI labs and financial firms to design reliable AI-native systems.
What You’ll Own:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
- Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and optimization.
- Expect to dive into unsolved challenges in enterprise‑scale data retrieval, autonomous agents, and knowledge graphs.
Ideal Signals:
- Strong Backend Programming experience ideally at Principal level (Ideally Go or Python).
- Proven experience within a startup environment (ideally from 0-1)
- Passion for impactful work in a high growth startup
- Experience within LLMs, Agentic AI or Financial Institutions.
