The program is very robust and comprehensive with sound foundational concepts in natural sciences with add-on applied concepts with ability to specialize in one/more of the following –
Food Safety and Quality Assurance, General Biotechnology, Medical Biotechnology, Nanobiotechnology, Nanobiotechnology-Nanofabrication, and Pharmaceutical Drug Design.
For more than15 years, the HU BTEC program has been the host to a Workforce Training entity -Capital Area Biotechnology Partnership (CABP, https://www.harrisburgu.edu/capital-area-biotechnology-partnership/ ). With this in place, HU-BTEC has established excellent industry-government-academia partnerships.
The university has state-of-the art instrumentation enabling faculty-students the opportunity to perform cutting-edge research.

If you have the following, then we are looking for YOU:
- Earned master's or doctorate from an accredited university- in any one from the following- Molecular Biotechnology, Bio-Medical Sciences, Molecular Medicine, or a related Scientific Discipline
- University level teaching Experience. (online/hybrid format of teaching is preferred but not required)
- Ability to collaborate and be a team-member
- Experience in working with diverse student populations
- Ability to initiate and supervise interdisciplinary research with graduates and undergraduates
- Excellent Hands-on skills related to molecular biotechnology, nanobiotechnology or biomedical research.
- Excellent student evaluations at university-level teaching experience
- Curriculum development (preferred, but not required)
