Harrisburg Interventional Pain Management is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Interventional Pain Management team.

What You'll Do

You'll care for patients before, during, and after interventional pain procedures while working closely with our physicians and clinical team.

Your day may include:

· Completing pre-procedure nursing assessments

· Reviewing medical history, medications, allergies, anticoagulants, NPO status, and vital signs

· Starting and maintaining IVs

· Preparing and educating patients before procedures

· Administering medications as ordered and within your scope of practice

· Monitoring patients throughout procedures

· Providing circulating nursing support

· Recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition

· Providing post-procedure/PACU recovery care

· Assessing pain, neurological status, vital signs, and discharge readiness

· Educating patients and caregivers before discharge

· Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

· Working with the entire team to keep the day's procedures safe, organized, and running smoothly

Procedures May Include

Our physicians perform interventional pain procedures that may include:

· Epidural steroid injections

· Medial branch blocks

· Facet injections

· Radiofrequency ablation

· Sacroiliac joint injections

· Spinal cord stimulator trials

· Other fluoroscopy-guided pain procedures

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

· Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania

· Graduate of an accredited nursing program

· Current BLS certification

· Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills

· Strong communication and patient education skills

Preferred:

· ACLS certification

· PACU, OR, ICU, ED, ambulatory surgery, pain management, interventional radiology, endoscopy, or procedural nursing experience

· IV experience
