POSITION: Elementary School Secretary II
Harrisburg operates on a 4-day school week M-TH with 8-hour work days.
COMPENSATION: $17.51- $23.56
Placement on the salary schedule will be commensurate with education, experience, and work schedule. District policy GCBA will be implemented.
BENEFITS: Prorated employer-paid insurance CAP to assist with health, dental, and vision premiums, employer-paid Basic Life, and AD&D policies. Two (2) days of personal leave, ten (10) days of sick leave, paid holidays, and a generous PERS retirement contribution.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Elementary School Secretary II to support daily school operations. This key position works closely with students, staff, and families, providing front-office support, managing student attendance, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in health room tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Front desk reception and communication
- Student attendance tracking and family outreach
- General clerical duties and data entry
- Supporting student health needs (first aid, meds, accident reports)
- Maintaining confidentiality and a professional demeanor
- Operating office equipment and using computer systems effectively
