Job Description:

L3Harris is currently seeking a Senior Associate Software Engineer to join our team. This position will be based at our Greenville, TX facility and offers a 9/80 schedule.

Essential Functions:

• Demonstrated object-oriented development experience using C .
• Experience in Agile development and essentials of DevOps.
• Software component development, implementation, and integration in Linux.
• Experience using scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Able to communicate effectively and work closely with assigned teams.
• Design, implement, and integrate software in a Linux Environment.
• Perform software coding and debugging, perform software unit tests, and integrate software components.
• Support continuous improvement, process innovation, and lessons learned activities.

Qualifications:

• Active US Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior relevant experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience in Design Patterns and Frameworks.
• Familiarization with virtualization, containerization, and hybrid computing environments.
• Experience in SQL/NoSQL database design and queries.
• Software and hardware troubleshooting background.
• Familiarity with ISR Systems.
• Experience with software automated test tools and frameworks.
• Multi-threaded, parallel, and/or GPU programming background.
• Google Protocol Buffers and network socket programming
