Job Description
Execution Assistant Role
Execution Assistants play an integral role in supporting the firm’s merger and acquisition advisory activities. As an Execution Assistant, you will have a high-level of exposure to specific Industry Group teams and complete critical tasks, initiatives, and special projects related to the firm’s M&A execution efforts.
Along with support from your deal team, you will:
  • Assist the M&A Industry Group with the preparation, editing and distribution of M&A deal/marketing materials
  • Research and collect data points and client information using CRM and other external resources; update databases and materials as needed
  • Create buyer packs, which include company overviews, transaction history, news articles, etc.
  • Attend deal-related meetings and identify subsequent action items
  • Maintain files (often PowerPoint and Excel) related to multiple, concurrent deals
  • Assist in developing Market/Industry Updates and reports; research industry trends, building a robust understanding of the deal team’s industry
  • Plan management presentation and closing dinner logistics, including travel and event coordination
  • Support general office needs, such as greeting visitors, managing conference room usage, etc.
  • Assist with special projects

Mentorship, Training & Development

Effective Communications – Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Flexibility and Adaptability – Knowledge of successful approaches, tools, and techniques for dealing with changes and adapting to a changing environment; ability to adapt as needed.
Office Administration – Ability to carry out ongoing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of local and remote teams.
Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with >1 years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience may be considered.
