Experienced Service Plumber / Drain Cleaning Technician

Job Summary
As our sole service plumber, you’ll take the lead on plumbing and drain-cleaning jobs, managing service calls independently from the initial diagnosis through the completed repair. A company work truck and drain-cleaning equipment are provided.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing problems, including leaks, fixture issues, and clogged drains.
- Install, repair, and replace piping, faucets, toilets, water heaters, and other plumbing components.
- Perform drain and sewer cleaning.
- Assess jobs, prepare estimates, and explain repair options clearly to customers.
- Obtain the parts and materials needed to complete each job.
- Collect customer payments when needed.
- Keep accurate job notes and communicate with the office about completed work and follow-up needs.
- Keep the company truck and equipment organized and leave work areas clean.
Qualifications
- Strong professional experience in plumbing service, repairs, installation, and drain cleaning.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete service calls independently.
- Confidence preparing estimates and selecting the correct parts and materials.
- Dependability, good judgment, and clear customer communication.
- Your own plumbing tools.
- A valid driver’s license.
Schedule and Equipment
- Full-time, generally 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with longer days as needed to complete jobs.
- Availability to respond to urgent emergency calls outside regular hours, including evenings and weekends, is required.
- Company work truck and drain-cleaning equipment provided.
- Boiler and heating work are not included in this role.
Compensation
Pay based on experience and demonstrated skills.
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
