Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across multiple sites, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to complete tasks such as fixture installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and concrete finishing
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute projects like framing, roofing, masonry, stucco application, and heavy equipment operation
- Assist with construction management activities including site inspections, estimating materials costs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Fabricate and install various fixtures and components such as cabinets, glass panels, trim carpentry elements, and hardscape features
- Conduct restoration work on damaged structures or surfaces using techniques like plastering, caulking, welding, or masonry
- Support the setup of scaffolding or other equipment necessary for roofing or high-reach tasks while adhering to safety protocols
Experience
- Proven construction site experience with familiarity in multiple trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or concrete work
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise project execution
- Experience with construction inspection processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Knowledge of construction management principles including scheduling and project coordination is a plus
- Prior exposure to blueprint reading, concrete forming, plastering, fabrication techniques or restoration projects is desirable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team
