Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures, including animal restraint and medication administration.
- Provide basic care for animals, including feeding, bathing, and walking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including outside areas
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, medications, and medical histories.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their animals' health and treatment plans.
- Monitor animal behavior and health status, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff.
- Support front desk operations by greeting clients, answering phones, and managing records.
Qualifications
- We will provide all the training that you need, however, knowledge of basic veterinary practices is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to providing high-quality care for animals.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
