The Enterprise Project Manage Office (EPMO) is seeking highly motivated professionals to join our team through a 5 year full-time, term-limited appointment. These roles are dedicated to supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of long-term capital initiatives that are critical to the organization's future growth and sustainability.
This position is intentionally designed as a time-bound role aligned with the life-cycle of major capital projects. While the appointment is limited to five years, incumbents will be full members of the organization, fully integrated into EPMO workstreams, and eligible for the same benefits and professional development opportunities as regular full-time employees.
This Senior Project Manager role will have responsibility for all aspects of the delivery of their project including scope, schedule, quality, and budget. This individual must have demonstrated ability to lead and manage all strategic projects across Harris Health in a matrix organization. Candidate will have prior success in results-oriented project delivery and managing a high-performing project team to deliver solution.
The position will require developing project related documentation including project management plans, risk management plans, communications plans, scope statements, project charters, work breakdown structures (WBS), project schedules, and closeout documentation. Project manager for this position will be providing the SVP of the Enterprise Project Management Office and executive management with regular updates on project status and information for decision making
Minimum Qualifications Degrees / Work Experience / School Education:
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Healthcare Information Management, Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution (And) Four (4) Years Project Management Work Experience
(Or)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Healthcare Information Management, Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution (And) Six (6) Years Project Management Work Experience.
(Or)
High School Diploma or GED (And) Ten (10) Years Project Management Work Experience
Licenses & Certifications: Project Mgmt Professional (PMP) preferred
Management Experience: Four (4) Years of Management experience
Project Management Experience: Minimum six (6) years of experience leading and managing large, complex strategic projects, including all aspects of process development and execution while working in an established enterprise project management office.
Project Management Methodology Experience: Minimum six (6) years of experience applying either waterfall, agile, and/or hybrid project management methodologies.
Project Scheduling Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of experience using MS Project Server.
Preferred Experience
Expertise in clinical information systems and EMR platforms, preferably Epic. Comprehensive understanding of pharmacy and laboratory operations and associated clinical workflows.
Demonstrated strength in partnering with external vendors to define expectations, manage timelines, and ensure integrated execution of deliverables.
Preferred experience managing EMR / Operational Integration coordinating with Facilities, Engineering, contractors, and vendors to support renovations, system installations, and operational readiness.

Typical Duties That May Be Performed
I. Leadership & Team Coordination
Provide strategic leadership and direction to project teams, promoting collaboration and accountability.
Serve as the central point of contact for all project-related activities, ensuring alignment across departments.
Foster a positive, team-oriented environment and coordinate efforts across technical and user groups.
II. Project Management & Technical Oversight
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans aligned with organizational goals.
Assign and monitor tasks, ensuring quality and timely delivery of project milestones.
Collaborate with the EPMO Directors to track progress, manage risks, and ensure deliverables meet scope, budget, and schedule.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including statements of work, schedules, budgets, and change control records.
Facilitate communication between operational end users (finance, legal, etc.), vendors, and executive sponsors to ensure transparency and alignment.
Ensure project requests are properly documented and approved, and that project plans are regularly updated.
III. Problem Solving & Strategic Input
Identify opportunities for system and process improvements and advise leadership on potential solutions.
Support project assessments and provide expert guidance on application capabilities and integration strategies.
IV. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with executives, clinicians, and business partners to ensure project success.
Manage expectations and maintain open communication across all organizational levels.
Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and reports on project status, risks, and outcomes.
V. Administrative & Performance Management
Provide regular status updates to the EPMO Directors.
Ensure adherence to organizational standards and best practices across all project activities.
Set performance goals for team members and conduct evaluations.
Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current with project trends and their impact on healthcare delivery.
Periodically review and update job descriptions to reflect evolving responsibilities.
Salary : $119,101 - $157,810
