Job Summary
Administers patient treatments, supervises support personnel, and performs related duties such as participation in rounds, clinics, departmental performance improvement, and clinical education in accordance with state practice act, applicable regulations, and departmental policy and procedure. Demonstrates competence to adapt work and customer service assistance methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and other developmental needs of patients served by the department.
Education
Minimum Qualifications
Certificate of Physical Therapist Assistant from APTA accredited school; Current or eligible for Texas License
Basic Life Support from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program.
None Required. Six Months Preferred
Competency in Physical Therapy Equipment

Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract), Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Languages: Spanish, Vietnamese preferred, Writing /Composing (Correspondence / Reports)
