Job Summary
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The Chaplain Manager oversees and provides the delivery of services at Harris Health System to patients, their families and staff. This role will provide leadership in support of department and system goals by managing staff, and resources and coordinating spiritual care across Harris Health System.
Degrees
Master's Degree in Theology or equivalent. Pastoral Care, or Theology from an accredited theological seminary. Masters in Divinity, preferred.
Licenses & Certification
Board Certified Chaplain; Association of Professional Chaplains, National Association of Catholic Chaplains, Neshama, Association of Jewish Chaplains, or Spiritual Care Association.
Work Experience
Five (5) years of experience in Healthcare Chaplaincy; trauma experience preferred
Management Experience
3 years of experience in Spiritual Care or equivalent
Communication Skills
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract)
Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking)
Writing /Composing: Correspondence / Reports
Bilingual Skills Preferred
