Job Summary
The Director of Payroll Services leads strategic payroll operations, driving process improvements, automation, and compliance across payroll and accounting functions. This role manages complex projects, ensures accurate financial reporting, and champions the effective use of systems like PeopleSoft and UKG Pro WFM. By fostering a customer-focused culture, mentoring staff, and aligning payroll practices with GAAP and organizational policies, the position ensures operational excellence and financial integrity.
Degrees
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area required
Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification required
Management Experience: Seven (7) years of management/supervisory experience required in a high-volume processing area.
