Position Description
An exciting internship opportunity awaits you with the Harris County Toll Road Authority! If you are a rising college sophomore through senior, HCTRA has opportunities in our Customer Service, Engineering & Construction, Finance, Human Resources, Operations & Facilities, Public Safety, and Tolling Operations departments. Depending on your major and interest, you could gain hands-on-experience learning the engineering behind roadway construction projects, assists in our state-of-the-art dispatch center, or assisting in improving the customer experience just to name a few. Previous college interns have helped create algorithms with our tolling Operations teams and drafted program manuals.
If you want to learn in a real-world environment and have an interest in transportation, tolling, or local government, this internship is for you! - Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student
- Must have a minimum of 24 credit hours earned
- Entering Sophomore, Junior, Senior year
- Cannot be on academic probation
