We are seeking an experienced and licensed Civil Professional Engineer with strong project management and leadership skills. In this role, you will lead the civil design and engineering components of complex site development projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate closely with Engineers and design teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and production of large, complex civil/site projects.
- Collaborate with Engineers to execute projects on time and within budget.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and design staff.
- Responsible for all aspects of production, drafting of plans and supporting documentation, preparing reports, performing technical research, evaluating alternatives, and providing recommendations to senior team members.
- Maintain quality standards and propose process improvements.
- Support business development efforts by maintaining professional relationships and identifying new opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, project scopes, and local jurisdictional requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10 years of civil engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency with mapping, design, or modeling software AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, ICPR, GIS, Sketch-Up, Microsoft, or related software packages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and critical thinking capabilities.
- Team-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience managing production processes and schedules.
- Familiarity with stormwater and utility design tools (WaterCAD, StormCAD, ICPR).
- Active participation in professional organizations.
