Ag Equipment Operator

We are a 2800 acre row crop farming operation. We primarily grow cotton and peanuts utilizing pivot and furrow irrigation systems. Our equipment primarily consists of Case tractors and John Deere cotton pickers and sprayer. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, planters, tillage equipment, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cotton, Peanuts. Must speak and understand English.
