Overview
A leading global prop shop is seeking a Quantitative Trader to join its Fixed Income ETF team. In this role, you’ll support existing strategies while developing the skills to independently design, build, and manage profitable trading strategies within a collaborative environment. The firm operates across a wide range of asset classes, leveraging advanced technology, data-driven methods, and sophisticated pricing models to improve market efficiency and transparency.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior traders on quantitative projects in the Fixed Income ETF space
- Contribute to strategy development, implementation, and performance analysis
- Apply strong analytical and technical capabilities in a fast-paced trading environment
- Demonstrate initiative, creative problem solving, and a deep interest in trading
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Quantitative Trader in Fixed Income, centralized crypto, or ETFs
- B.S/M.S in a quantitative discipline (math, physics, statistics, CS, engineering, economics) with 3.6 GPA
- Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics
- Proficiency in kdb /q and/or Python
Compensation
In accordance with New York City’s Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is $125,000–$225,000, excluding additional compensation and benefits. There is some flex in this range, and PnL splits will also be on offer when Traders begin to run their own sub-strategies.
