Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning inventory levels.
• Active participant in monthly SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) process.
• Incorporate feedback from Buyers, RBOMs, RSOMs, Branch Managers, and others on opportunities to optimize the forecast and resulting Min/Max outputs by identifying and addressing the largest root causes of high variance.
• Use analysis of forecast accuracy and calculated values to identify the most accurate source of forecast data for designated product groups and/or locations.
• Monitor the movement of inventory in designated Harrington locations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, highlighting areas of concern and taking corrective actions.
• Utilize the company’s inventory management tools and data to determine the optimal product mix of stock items.
• Analyze historical demand, identify trends, and provide insight to Supply Chain and Sales leaders
  
  

Requirements

• Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. One to two years of industry specific buying and supply chain experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Focuses on the needs of customers, supplies and/or employees as key drivers of success
• Seeks entrepreneurial opportunities to drive sales and/or reduce costs by weighing benefits and risks
