Responsibilities
- Assist with routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces to maintain cleanliness and clarity.
- Support the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and circulation systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Help balance pool chemistry by handling water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to ensure optimal water quality and safety standards.
- Maintain pool plumbing systems by assisting with pipe inspections, leak detection, and minor repairs under supervision.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly to transport equipment, chemicals, and supplies to various job sites.
- Perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols for chemical handling and equipment use.
- Support the team with general maintenance tasks around aquatic facilities to ensure all areas are safe, functional, and visually appealing.
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with pool maintenance or aquatic facilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic mechanical knowledge related to pool systems, plumbing, and equipment troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle water treatment chemicals safely while following proper procedures for chemical agent handling.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients and team members alike.
- Experience operating company vehicles or similar outdoor work experience is a plus.
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment repair techniques is advantageous.
