The Project Manager will be instrumental in fostering strong client relationships, optimizing project workflows, and delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.
- Prepare and track status of quotes and purchase orders for needed equipment and pipe for each job.
- Create and maintain job schedules to ensure efficient project execution and optimize resource allocation.
- Work with municipal and commercial clients to obtain permits, bonds, and traffic plans.
- Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues promptly, demonstrating exceptional customer service.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and update project status reports, highlighting key metrics and recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement proactive mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to identify new business opportunities and expand client relationships.
- Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or commensurate experience (preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills for creating and manipulating Excel and Word documents.
- Proven track record of success in project management, preferably in the water industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in change management and risk mitigation.
