About the Role

As a Route Sales Representative, you will oversee an established sales territory, promoting a portfolio of nationally recognized beverage brands to grocery stores, convenience stores, and other retail customers. You will serve as the primary contact for your accounts, helping customers maximize product sales through effective ordering, merchandising, promotional execution, and inventory management.

Using a company vehicle and mobile sales technology, you'll manage daily customer visits, place product orders, monitor inventory levels, and identify opportunities to increase sales volume and market share. This position combines sales, account management, merchandising, and customer service in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with retail customers while managing a dedicated sales route. Develop existing accounts, identify growth opportunities, present new products and promotions, place and review customer orders, and ensure products are properly displayed and merchandised. You'll also help support in-store marketing initiatives, maintain accurate sales records, and deliver outstanding customer service while representing Harrington Bottling and Pepsi brands in the marketplace.

What We're Looking For

Successful candidates are self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently throughout the day. Strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills are essential. Experience in route sales, outside sales, retail sales, beverage distribution, food service sales, account management, merchandising, or business development is beneficial but not required.

Candidates should possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license and good driving record
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Basic technology skills and comfort using tablets or mobile applications
• The ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities efficiently

Compensation & Benefits

Harrington Bottling offers a competitive compensation package designed to reward performance and support long-term career success. Team members receive a base salary starting at $50,000 plus commission, company-provided vehicle, medical benefits, paid vacation, paid holidays, and a company retirement program with employer contributions.
