Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to schematics, design specifications, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to interpret HVAC design plans and schematics accurately.
- Install, maintain, and repair a variety of HVAC systems.
- Conduct plumbing and electrical connections necessary for HVAC equipment operation while ensuring compliance with local codes and standards.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues and perform equipment repairs or replacements as needed.
- Supervise field service activities including appliance repair, property maintenance tasks, welding operations, and routine system maintenance.
- Mentor and guide junior installers on best practices in equipment installation, welding techniques, mechanical knowledge application, and safety procedures.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed using schematics and technical manuals; complete shift reports and incident logs diligently.
- Operate company vehicles safely when transporting tools or equipment to job sites.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards for HVAC.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related HVAC installation role with a strong mechanical background.
- Extensive field service experience involving appliance repair, property maintenance, or HVAC system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with schematics interpretation and HVAC design principles for complex systems.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience operating diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
