Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Peddinghaus CNC Angle Line Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and oversee the Peddinghaus CNC angle line, ensuring precise cutting and punching of steel angles according to technical specifications. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in our fabrication processes. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate the Peddinghaus CNC angle line, including programming and calibration to meet production specifications
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to accurately produce components
- Utilize CNC programming to develop and modify machining processes
- Perform routine inspections using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy (GD&T) included)
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on the CNC machine
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production and handling industrial materials responsibly
- Assist with materials handling, tooling setup, packaging finished products, and supporting machine operations as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery with a focus on angle lines or similar fabrication equipment
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, and interpreting technical drawings
- Familiarity with mechanical blueprint reading and shop math for precise measurements and fabrication accuracy
- Skilled in using a tape measure
- Experience with factory or manufacturing facility operations involving materials handling
- Basic understanding of safety standards in production environments along with warehouse experience is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on shop experience in machining or fabrication environments
