Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing family business. As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing the service needs of our clients' vehicles and professionally selling automotive repair. You will work closely with our Automotive Technicians to ensure that our customers' vehicles are serviced in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, sales ability, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and listen to their concerns regarding their vehicle
- Advise customers on the recommended maintenance and repair services for their vehicles
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized and efficient workflow for the Automotive Technicians
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs needed
- Provide estimates for repair costs and obtain customer approval before beginning work
- Coordinate with Parts Department to ensure timely and accurate parts ordering and inventory management
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and resolving any concerns or issues
- Maintain accurate service records and follow-up with customers regarding recommended future services
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and trends
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Sales Ability
- Previous experience as an automotive service advisor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient with automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
