General Facilities Tech *HIRING BONUS

Overview
The General Facilities Tech ensures timely repairs and upkeep of the property to prevent guest inconvenience. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a solid understanding of all operational and maintenance systems, including external elements, to support an excellent guest experience.

Duties

• Perform all repairs, maintenance, and replacement of parts for preventative maintenance
• Continually assess the preventative maintenance schedule to ensure equipment longevity, avoidance of repairs and down time, ease of operation and efficiency are all being maximized pursuant to recommendations.
• Must be able to operate mover, trimmers, snow blower, vacuums, power washers, and all gardening tools.
• Must be able to operate heavy machinery to include tractors, bobcat and skid steer.
• Must possess excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
• Maintains professional appearance and demeanor throughout shift
• Follows all safety protocols and reports unsafe working conditions immediately
• Follows lost and found policies and procedures
• Plans, organizes and completes work timely
• Takes initiatives, shows ownership and goes above and beyond to assist guests with their needs

Requirements

• Must be 19 years of age or older and have a High School diploma or GED
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and be able to pass a MVR
• Ability to speak, read, and write the English Language, Bilingual Spanish preferred
• Must be able to work in a variety of climates for all seasons, including high heat and temps below freezing.
• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
• Must have a strong Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
• Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment
• Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
