Sales Associate / Kitchen Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team in a dynamic Hardware store environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by assisting them with their needs, promoting products, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits through effective product demos.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking shelves and arranging displays.
• Utilize retail math to manage inventory levels effectively and assist in stock management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with design software preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Basic understanding of cash handling procedures and retail math principles.
• Ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
