- Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and dental examinations to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs.
- Capture and review medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Review medical records and documentation to support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and medical coding processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control standards and OSHA guidelines.
- Support patient care by monitoring vital signs, assessing patient comfort levels, and providing post-treatment instructions.
- Stay current with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and emerging best practices in pediatric dentistry and general dentistry to deliver top-tier care.
Experience
- Familiarity with Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and pediatric patient management is a plus.
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations while demonstrating professionalism and compassion.
