The Fulfillment Coordinator / Specialist ensures that all Harper Ellis Hair Co. orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards for excellence. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the integrity of our product fulfillment process — from inventory organization and order accuracy to shipping and client satisfaction.
The Fulfillment Coordinator focuses on day-to-day fulfillment operations, ensuring accuracy, speed, and consistency. The Fulfillment Specialist performs all Coordinator duties while taking on higher-level responsibilities such as process improvements,
resolving escalations, managing advanced inventory or shipping tasks, and supporting the training and development of team members. Together, these roles uphold the Harper Ellis reputation for quality and reliability in every client order shipped.

KEY OBJECTIVES
- Order Fulfillment: Print, sort, pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
- Inventory & Organization: Conduct routine inventory checks, assist with receiving and restocking products, and maintain accurate product counts.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep fulfillment and storage areas organized, clean, and free of clutter; maintain product and supply organization systems.
- Event Preparation: Support company events by preparing and packing materials, ensuring all event-related items are organized and ready for both in-house and off-site execution.
- Cross-Department Support: Assist with assembling and shipping marketing or PR packages as needed, coordinating with the Marketing and Operations teams.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the fulfillment and operations teams.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Reliable and consistent in meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Ability to follow and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and inventory tools (e.g., Shopify, Planster, Google Workspace).
- Works well independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior fulfillment, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to stand and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Regular bending, reaching, and handling of products.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional errands or pickups.
