Notice is hereby given that the following position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in the Harper Creek Community School District, Battle Creek, Michigan.
POSTING DATE: July 29, 2026
CLASSIFICATION: Lunchroom/Recess Assistant (Category 2)
LOCATION/SUPERVISOR Sonoma Elementary - Lindsey Cook
PAY RATE: Per Master Contract – Category 2, Step 1: $16.25/hour for new employees.
Existing employees will remain on their current contractual step placement.
May earn an additional .50 cents / hour premium with an Associate’s degree or higher education or passage of the MTTC (or equivalent) test in reading, writing, and math
HOURS OF WORK: 10:45am - 1:45pm on Student Attendance Days
STARTING DATE: August 24, 2026; May have training beforehand
