- Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move supplies and equipment around the facility.
- Support assembly line processes by assembling parts using hand tools and interpreting technical drawings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including warehouse spaces and manufacturing zones.
- Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct mechanical assembly tasks with precision, ensuring adherence to quality specifications.
- Support manufacturing management by reporting equipment issues or safety hazards promptly.
Qualifications
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in mechanical assembly and use of hand tools and power tools.
- Experience operating forklifts; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments to promote a safe workplace.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management and logistics procedures.
