**Primary Responsibilities and Duties**
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with production machinery, both independently and with industry specialists.
Set up, run, troubleshoot, and tear down mining machinery as required.
Provide expertise in diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and 24V electrical systems.
Identify and resolve machinery errors during production.
Effectively communicate machinery issues to production management when needed.
Collaborate with equipment operators to ensure machines are operating safely and efficiently.
Perform refueling and lubrication tasks as necessary.
Carry out other duties as assigned.
Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in accordance with company policies.
**Qualifications**
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with relevant experience in a similar field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, specifically with 6030 Front Shovel, E-9 and E-10
Dozers, 992 Wheel Loader, 392 Excavator, and CAT 777 equipment.
Strong ability to understand, follow, and communicate written and verbal instructions with management or supervisors.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and layout tools safely and effectively.
