Food & Beverage Manager – Luxury Hotel

Harper Associates has been retained to identify an accomplished Food & Beverage Manager for a luxury hotel in Detroit. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished hospitality professional who thrives in an upscale, service-driven environment.
The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee daily operations at one of the hotel’s dining outlets, working closely with culinary and hotel leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support front-of-house food and beverage operations
- Recruit, train, schedule, and develop service team members
- Maintain luxury service standards and ensure guest satisfaction
- Oversee labor, inventory, purchasing, and operating costs
- Promote strong communication among service, culinary, banquet, and hotel teams
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-service requirements
- Assist with special events, private dining, and high-volume hotel functions
- Identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and profitability
Ideal Candidate
- Previous food and beverage management experience in a luxury hotel, fine-dining restaurant, private club, or similarly upscale environment
- Strong knowledge of restaurant and beverage operations
- Polished leadership style with a hands-on approach
- Excellent communication, organization, and guest-recovery skills
- Experience managing labor, inventory, financial performance, and service standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
This position offers a salary of up to $85,000, plus a performance-based bonus and an excellent benefits package.
