Bakery/Deli Closing Clerk Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bakery/Deli Closing Clerk. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, supervise store operations, and ensure that our customers receive a positive first impression.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support bakery/deli department operations, including department readiness, staffing, supervision, price maintenance, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with replenishment and inventory processes, including ordering, receiving, invoicing, and accounting.
• Maintain merchandising and sales floor standards, including proper stocking, rotation, signing, setting, and maintaining displays.
• Ensure fresh food preparation and production meet high-quality standards and food safety guidelines.
Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• No previous work experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Adaptable to different situations and able to respond with flexibility to shifting priorities and rapid change.
• Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions.
• Physical demands include standing and/or walking continuously throughout shift, reaching overhead and below the knees, and lifting merchandise weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
