IT Help Desk Associate (Part Time)

At Wells Insurance, we’re looking for a Part Time IT Help Desk Associate to support our internal team by handling day to day technology issues. This role is frontline support, learning focused, and critical to keeping our people productive.
What You’ll Do (aka what keeps things running smoothly)
You’ll be the first point of contact when someone needs help with their computer, system access, or basic tech issues, while keeping things documented, secure, and moving forward.
You’ll
- Serve as the initial contact for employee IT support requests

Troubleshoot and resolve common Tier 1 issues related to
- Computers, monitors, keyboards, and peripherals
- Email, passwords, and account access
- Agency software and web based tools
- Printers and basic connectivity issues
- Provide support in person, by phone, and remotely as needed
- Document issues, steps taken, and resolutions in our ticketing system
- Escalate more complex or unresolved issues to IT leadership
- Assist with workstation setup, onboarding & offboarding support, and basic software installs
- Help maintain accurate records of IT equipment and assets
- Follow IT policies, security standards, and best practices
- Communicate clearly and professionally with employees about issue status and next steps
