Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction/Remodeling Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of construction and remodeling tasks such as framing, drywall, painting, flooring, fencing, etc. We are looking for someone with previous construction experience who has pride in their work, shows up on time, has a dependable vehicle, and can pass a drug test/background check.
Responsibilities
- Perform demolition, framing, drywall installation, and finishing with precision and efficiency
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to execute tasks such as cutting, sanding, and assembling materials
- Install doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, tile, and other fixtures according to project plans
- Conduct inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Assist with concrete forming, finishing, masonry work, stucco application, and roofing tasks as needed
- Utilize construction management software like Bluebeam for project documentation and communication
- Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation or material handling when required
- Collaborate with team members on site layout, fabrication, restoration projects, and hardscape installations
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing and electrical systems during remodeling projects
- Ensure all work adheres to building codes and safety protocols while maintaining a clean work environment
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or remodeling environments with a strong understanding of construction site operations
- Skilled in construction estimating processes
- Hands-on experience with various trades including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry, roofing, plastering, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, glass installation, cabinet installation, caulking, drywall finishing, concrete finishing, restoration work, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and electrical wiring is highly desirable
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
